Prof. Manoj Karkee will be in The Reading Revellers Series (TRRS) as a guest speaker. The title of his talk is "Agriculture: Hands on Machines". This program is scheduled for 8:00 pm PDT on Nov 16, 2022

Manoj grew up in a rural farming community. He deeply embraces his farming heritage and consequently brings his genuine pragmatism to work everyday. Now, he leads the Agricultural Automation Research work with his students at the Center for Precision and Automated Agricultural Systems in Prosser, Washington. His experience, from farming in rural Nepal all the way to working closely with scientists, engineers and farming communities in Iowa State, Washington State and beyond, helps him develop his unique vantage at agriculture, automation and sustainability.
